We have a new photo challenge competition! This challenge theme is reflections! We can't wait to see how creative you can get with the dual imaging that reflections provide. Angle and lighting can have an enormous impact on this theme so don't be afraid to take several types of risk to get your shot!

We have a new photo challenge for you! We want you to try your hand at framing, a photo element that uses objects inside the photo to guide the viewer's eye to your subject. Here are some examples:

In the above pictures you can see the frame of the lens itself is secondary, this allows the photographer to hone in on the subject without sacrificing resolution. It also forces the photographer into the shoes of the viewer in selecting exactly how much of the subject will be seen and to what extent it will be focused on. Lets take a look at a few more examples.

Using large natural elements makes the picture more relaxed, while still guiding the viewer and focusing their attention on the details of the subject.

Or you can play around with the frame itself to shift focus and subject. The sky is the limit with how creative you can be with this element! The contest will continue to April 15th. We look forward to seeing your contributions!
